Holy smokes I just realized the message I get when trying to log on. It says Multiple accounts. What does that mean? I only have the Istar account. What a joke of an operation.

I have been banned about 4-times now, I think this last one will be permanent, and all I did was to PM the KWB twit like you, my PM to him is posted above. If this is your first, it's like a week at the most. I too was shocked, SHOCKED, at KWB's immediate posting which dissed the OP on his request for non-confrontational discussion in the new thread. CN has gone way downhill. I remember what, 4 years or so ago when Istar was starting out that Charles guy who took good spanking from CN for his derogatory postings. Banned for quite a while if I remember correctly. Now the mods aren't looking for a balanced, fair discussions. Silent partners in dissing, they are. F'em. If you want to lurk quietly, reregister with a different nom de plume :>) IP addy may trip you up though... I won't be adding any more count to Jimmy's new 60mm thread but Joe, you should not be peeing in that lawn. I haven't seen things since you first posted last evening. Jim

This has been an amazing 24 hours! CN bans and all that. You couldn't make it up. The current CN thread is going well though.
What's the story with Barnett's thread on the cheap Celestron 4-inchers under the same title? I mean wasn't that groundwork also done my Mr. English a while back too? I know he gives these 4-inch achros a lot of praise in his book.
Strange!
Rob.

See how JRBuffoon mocked Kunama's thread? He posted it 2+ hours after Kunama. He thinks he's clever and is enjoying getting us riled up. But his comments to us are like his pissing into a fan. Haven't heard too much out of Gord lately. Hope he's not lying on the floor in front of Barnett. Mike

I forgot to add that did you notice Buffoon's last line in his opening post?? "Why squander your dough on a 4" achromat costing many times more?" Wonder if that was a slam against the 4" Istar in the thread that got locked?? Also unreliable sources are speculating if Buffoon is on retainer to Astronomics? Just a thought. Mike

My posts are limited to my laptop at home. I do have a computer at the office but never post from it. Do we ever have a permanent IP address unless we pay for one? I thought that was issued everytime you log onto the net. Anyone know? The other account could be in Fort Myers and occaisonally gets the same IP. Right or not? Fort Myers is fairly small. Only about 40K population.

He has three posts going at one time and all are designed to bash Istar. The good news is our thread is outpacing his best one by over 300 views. Here is a guy who worships Roland Christian (AP). Arguably some of the best scopes ever made. Yet, he is now promoting some $60 scope. Unbelievable.

Oh well at least I can dis him all I want over here since he never would read anything on ISC. I know it's not professional behavior but I can't help it. I'm not up on the tech side like I was when Al Gore invented the internet. Actually, I think it might be your modem that has the permanent ID. Anyway, I wouldn't sweat it. Jim

I need to stay away from there for a while anyway. Too stressful for me.

I should spend more time over here supporting the people that are supporting Istar anyway.

Mike don't worry too much about the "unprofessional" behavior. Over here you can let it hang out. A guy can take only so much crap and when it's aimed at a passion it gets even worse. Most if not all of us over here are real down to earth types anyways. Still when it comes to business you have to remember who it is you're representing and who you want to reach. Mike

Well, looks like JB forgot what he copied and pasted in his 60 dollar refractor thread. Just went on to describe manufacturing processes and a review of his star testing of the Celestron close out scope.I guess he can't play by the rules even if he makes them!
