Hi, I'm not really familiar with forums but I'm interested in buying an Istar 127 F/12 however can't find much information about these. Has anyone used these for imaging deep sky objects? Are there any photos available?

Hello Jorike, This particular telescope was designed primarily for visual. Because of its lung focal ratio this is not suitable for deep space imaging. For that I would strongly suggest our newest Phantom FCL 140-6.5. This telescope really shines when it comes to imaging. The old Asteria 127 f/12 Can be used for imaging of planets and the Moon. I hope this information helps with your purchase decision. Ales
