Hello All, I want to make a solar scope but optimized for a narrow band: solar continuum, ~540nm. The plan is to keep the size manageable, FL~1500mm, aperture as much as possible, 127-150mm. There will be photo mainly, using baader filter + solar continuum or baader Hershel prism + solar continuum, open tube to avoid getting hot inside. I'm from Europe so it must be available here.
What would be the options? Thanks.

Please let me know if you are interested in such lens so we can reserve one for you. Write directly to mike@istar-optical.com with copy to ales@istar-optical.com I believe that this lens would be ideal for you based on your specific criteria. best regards, Ales

Thank you for the offer.
My dilemma is that Ha is not solar continuum (540nm vs. 650nm), and since the price of a solar continuum filter is much less than an ERF+Ha<1A combination I tend to go on solar continuum path. But I will think on that.
