Hey Guys! Just a little report from the WSP. Thought you might like to know I had a small crowd here at my campsite last night (Winter Star Party). All were most impressed with the new Asteria 127-12 R30. The most popular comment was, “I can’t believe you can see that kind of detail from a five inch scope.” I have been confident that we had a winner but until you hear it from people, you worry just a little. At 164X the Orion nebula showed a huge amount of structure and the E & F star were clearly visible in the trapezium. The owner of one of the largest astronomy shops in Europe was here. He has been in the business for 30 plus years. A very educated and experienced man. He was highly impressed with our product and spent nearly 3 hours observing through our Phantom Fluorite and new Asteria. He shook his head in amazement. He said, ”these are the finest scopes to come in a long time and especially at the price.” I'll report more and with pictures as soon as I get back. Until then from the unbelievably steady skies of the Florida Keys...

Thanks for the report Mike. I'm sure the fluorite would impress anybody. It's good to know that the Asteria line can have an impact on a seasoned observer as well. Hopefully I'll be looking through my own 6" Asteria soon?
