I have about 20 scopes finished. They all have to be tested but shipping could be almost immediate. Well, after the 27th. I have to play first at the WSP.
I have: Perseus 150 F15, F12, F10, F8. Phoenix WFT 150-5 and Asteria 127 F12 R30.
These new Asteria scopes are very cool. Lighter weight than their big brother the 150, amazingly shorter considering they are still F12 and an awesome red counter cell and back plate. Most importantly the performance of an R30 lens. I will be testing one all week at the Winter Star Party. I'll get a report up as soon as I get back on the 27th. I know we like the big 6 inchers but this scope is going to sell. It will be far less demanding on a mount. I am going to see how much I can do with it mounted on my Celestron Advanced Series (glorified CG-5).

That's more my style. 4+5'ers. But, then again, I don't think I've looked through 6+".

What is the OTA weight on the Asteria 127? Also, do you offer a tube color option? I think classic white is the way to go with a refractor.
