Hello Paolo, Not sure what you mean by "claimed." Did Ales say he was working on an 8 inch F8 tube scope somewhere? We do have a 204-8 TCR in R35 but as far as I know there is no intention of producing an AXT tube model. I know we are going to eventually change our lenses over to the new design R45 but we have not produced any yet.

I'm sure when you'll create one of these i will buy it! This model is planned for end of 2015. It will use a new style of ED doublet. It is now designed for F10, we are trying to achieve similar performance at F8 or close to this number. Personally I would rather go to F9 and keep the CA reduction at maximum. R55 at F9 is achievable with this new ED glass. best regards, Ales

We do not have any produced, not even prototyped. There are plans just between me and our master optician to produce some of the large 8" R50 doublet at F8 to F10 ratio. Since these new doublets use a completely different and more expensive ED glass types, I only know that these doublets will be more expensive compared to current R35 SLIM. We will inform everyone once we have final designs and price quotes ready. Most likely by middle or end of next year. regards, Ales

Paolo If the new Phoenix WXT 204-6LT is well accepted on the market, we will produce the Perseus AXT 204-9 and phase out the TCR in F8, leave TCR in only F12 where it makes more sense. But we can always custom build any TCR scope in currently existing line. Also, if we produce the Perseus AXT 204-9, it would only make sense to stick with F9 ratio on this newly planned super ED doublet 204 F9 R50-S. Speed of production depends on how many people we get seriously interested in these new 204mm R50 doublets. if we get 3 or more, we can produce these doublets sooner. But let me come up with some preliminary prices first. Best regards, Ales
