Hello I propose you my last solar images realized with OTA special H-alpha 228 mm , since I collimated perfectly the lens I obtain better results that last year with a average seeing!!!!! When the seein will calm down I think of making better resolution The first image of the Post realized with a sampling of 0.11" / pix shows that the quality of optics Istar Optical are very good!!!! JP you are planning on posting this over in the Refractor forum on CN are you not? This will show those refractor "know it alls" what a superb optic is capable of. Very good image! Mike

Really stunning images JP, I thought it was impossible to improve on your last set of images, but these take it to a whole new level. I particularly like the loop prominence and details in the spicules.
