Here are few pics of my Istar 10" f/11 R30/35 anastigmat. The secondary scope is a Jaegers 6" f/8 with a 2° FOV at 38x. Both scopes seem to have very similar color correction. When the 6" is powered up to 212x-636x range the views are nearly identical excpt the Istar is much brighter with noticeably less CA. I always new that the Jaegers was top notch as many seasoned viewers over it's 40 year life span have commented so. Except for resolution and light grasp the views are identical as far as image likeness is concerned. Mike

Here is a pick of the mount. Pillow blocks with 3" solid steel shafts and 100 lbs. of counterweights. There are 46 lbs. of sliding tube weights near the tail end of the OTA. The mount lets the scopes move effortlessly yet near instantaneous dampening times....very professional feeling. Total scope weight is near 1200 lbs.

Here is a pic of the rotateable 12 position spring loaded "click" stop focuser. The Jaeger's focuser is in the 12:00 oclock position and the Istar's focuser is at the 10:00 oclock position. Mike Attachments:

I've seen pictures of this setup before but looking at them again... I'm impressed all over. Awesome setup. What I wouldn't give to spend a few hours behind it.
