Ales made a statement today saying it's nice to see who we are all talking to. It makes things a whole lot more interesting. Unless your in the Witness Protection Program or just plain neurotic no further comment out of you is needed. I for one am about sick and tired of excuses anymore in this screwed up PC world we live in. Here is a pic of myself on the left with my friend "Ziggy" Jachmann of the SLCAS. I'm sure a lot of you who visit Cloudy Nights will recognize him. We are at one of the public outreach events at the 2011 AL convention at Bryce Canyon. Between us is Ziggy's pride and joy....his 1913 Alvan Clark 9" F/15 refractor. It was an absolute joy to view thru this scope and also to hang with him and his family. Mike Attachments:

Oh I forgot to mention. The above are my opinions even tho' they are factual. ;D This in no way is to suggest or infer that Istar or anyone connected with it endorses these statements. As far as I know my ugly puss is the first and last one that Ales wants to see. It should not make a whit difference in your doing business with Istar or not. This is a business bottom line consideration of coutesy by me to Istar not an apologetic PC statement. So let's have some fun with this hobby and get on with enjoying these fine products. Mike

Brian, I want to go into the dark Northern Territory with you. Sounds awesome. The Caribbean is as far south as I've made it. Mike Attachments:

you are more than welcome Mike ( and anyone else ;D) , the dark skies here and lack of hills give awsome horizon to horizon views , best I have ever seen easily mag 6.5-7 naked eye . But you have to come between may and november , the dry season and a weekend of the new moon so you can come to one of our Dag's ( Darwin astro group ) dark sky nights , good viewing and great people . And you dont have to travel far out to get there , I only go 50km's max . Brian. Brian, I want to go into the dark Northern Territory with you. Sounds awesome.
