My little big man! Built like a tank? I don't think so. A tank runs into this thing, it'll be scope one tank 0! I need more counter weights before I can even first light it, but it sure is purdy! Attachments:

It is a good looking scope. Compact but 6 inches of aperture. I'm looking forward to your impression of it. I know I sure enjoyed it!
I picked up a second counter weight from AM. Got it cheap and it ended up being brand new in the original box.

I look forward to your review. I hope you also post it on CN. There is a lot of interest in big refractors with short focal lengths. Your review would no doubt generate a lot of opinions.

Hi Joe.....
Have you tested your 6" , since you received it, last year.......
I am not sure, who else have also purchased similar 6" like yours, although I did not proceed with the order, after knowing that it is more for DSO , and not planet use.....

Hi Brian and ALL....
As now is the beginning of February, I think is also going to see a lot of members, bringing out their Istar scopes for observing, although I am very sure is still very cold in the Northern hemisphere....
Over in our equatorial region, the raining season also about to come to an end, and more sunny days are expected , when come to early March......
And I think over in the Southern hemisphere should also be getting good skies....
And I do hope, Joe, our watcher, is coming up with some reports....... of his beautiful 6 inch.......
Regards
James Ling
