Oh? You mean taxing the few remaining workers and filtering that revenue through 10 layers of bureaucracy to pay for government jobs digging ditches hasn't been working? If it doesn't get too out of hand, I won't stop it, but remain respectful of other members. Politicians can be dis-respected as long as there's a punch line!

Well, I don't who's to blame or who's going to fix it, I just wish it would get better. No one man is going to fix it that's for sure. It's going to take time. You guys are just talking about the states. The European economy is killing sales big time. Remember that stable and dependable Euro? The one that always was worth so much more that the US dollar? Our European dealers are really hurting. I'm worried that some are going to fold. How long can they hold on? All telescope manufacturers sales are down. If they say different, they are lying. Astromart is an excellent gauge to the economy. There have been more top notch refractors up for sale than any time in the past. I've been following Astromart for many years and I'm amazed at what people are having to give up because they need the money. High dollar items i.e. Zeiss orthos, AP refractors that have been hung on to forever are being offered up. Who knows...

Well, the fun was over for a short period of time, we have another of these Perseus AT 204-9 built and the lens has been finished last friday. We are now running the interferometer tests and all new 204 F9 and 204 F6 lenses will be available for shipment in one 10 day time or so.. all depends on situation in Florida. Mike was without web and electricity and I did not hear back from him as of now, I hope he is OK and the business will continue without any further interuption. Im sure that everyone understands that we can not take care of business and our customers during the major catastrophy, like the latest hurricane in Florida. cheers, Ales
