This place has been a little dead I see. Since Ales has been on a long business trip all the work falls on me. I haven't had the luxury of browsing the forums for a while. Things are still going strong here. I will have a new scope stock list soon as several lenses are on the way to me now. Stay posted!

Good to see at least someone is still alive! I was coming close to declaring this place DEAD.

Hello Mike and everyone, just a quick note that I will be arriving back in my European office by this coming weekend and I will take care of next shipment of assembled OTAs from here over to USA. After this shipment is done we wil have by far the largest stock ever including few brand new Asteria and Ares models. By end of this year we will also finish production of a new H-Alpha imaging/visual doublets especially made for those interested in observing and photographing sun. Also the super lightweight construction on Perseus AT 150-12 will be ready for evaluating and testing, I keep my fingers crossed. If all goes well, we would have a funny looking, but extremely sturdy and lightweight refractor for those of you who are limited by your existing scope mount. For example on already mentioned 150mm full aperture F12 doublet we expect up to 35 percent weight reduction... that is more than 1/3rd of total weight. But I will keep everyone posted about our progress, stay tuned. You wont find out much about new products from Istar if you dont look around. participating on Istar Scope Club is very important, best regards, Ales ISTAR Optical
