I am curious about IStar optics. Do you have your own optics shop? Do you source your optics from China?
I don't expect you to reveal your source but, with the influx of Chinese optics these days I am curious. I am not that familiar yet with ISTar so forgive my ignorance. Thx, Rob

Rob, we are not grading our own optics, we let our customers do that for us. And so far all customers, both experienced professionals and ocassional observers call our optics "Excellent" or "Top End". Well comparable to the big names and their quality. Otherwise we would not get orders to design and produce optics for observatories around the globe nor would our customers write a very positive comments about our instruments and lenses in cell. See some of the comments under: istar-optical.com/istar_008.htm and many more all over the web for example Cloudy Nights, Astromart and here on Istar Scope Club which is NOT run by Istar optical but rather by one of our fans and a fast expanding number of members. Be well, talk to you soon, cheers, Ales
