I noticed them listed on the ISTAR website. Any info and or pics of them? Looks like it could be a viable option for shorter scopes, if they're as aesthetically pleasing as the Pro style rings.
By the way, have you seen the Stellarvue R&P focusers? I believe they're Chinese sourced. They look to be a very nice unit with the same mounting threads as the Feathertouch. An ISTAR branded version might be nice for those of us who are painfully budget conscious, but still want a good R&P.

We have had no luck with Chinese focusers. I've got a small stack of them now and an appreciable percentage don't work right. This is the problem poor Hands On Optics was having on those 102 F11 achromats. Fantastic deal on a nice little scope with decent optics, $499 included shipping. I bought it to avoid using my good refractors for outreach. I, along with 100 other people, bought one but it was a crap shoot on whether you got a good focuser or not. I had to send the first one back and fortunately the second one was good. So, it's focusers built by us in the US where we can have complete control over quality. Our 2.5" model is only $288 outright and we are now including it on all OTA. We are currently working on a 3.5" model. It will still be priced well below Moonlight or Starlight models.

We have 160mm CNC Pro Style rings available right now. I have several sets in stock. Most customers buying an OTA are opting for a set. We have in production a less expensive set that will be finished soon. Still good quality just not so beefy.
