Ales or Mike
I am considering building a solar telescope based on the 4 inch F#10 ISTAR achromat. The overall length is more manageable at F10 than the F 15 lens. I would use the Televue powermate to get close to F-30 needed for Ha filters.
Questions: Is there a drawing of the cell somewhere so the design of the cell to tube interface can be worked out?
The photograph of the lens and cell on the web page is different than the 4 inch F 15 immediately below. Is this real or not?
Are these lenses in stock? if not what is the lead time?
Thank you for response Conrad

I may be all wet but a barlow only increases the focal length not the focal ratio. Is this what you need for the filter? If I'm wrong whip me! ; Mike

Conrad, I only have 100 mm F12s in stock. It takes 6 weeks from the time of the order. We can provide a drawing to help you build the tube assembly. If you need more details, email me direct at: mike.harden@istar-optical.com
