This is our favorite dark sky spot in southern Florida. It's about 25 minutes from my house. Very dark as the Milky Way is very bright and can easily be seen from horizon to horizon.

The southern tip of the Milky Way (unfortunately after I cropped the bottom because of a distant lightning storm).
