iOptron SkyTracker first light. Weather finally let up last night. We're in the height of the rainy season. Mounted my Canon DSLR and imaged the Milky Way last night. You can see my distant neighbors security light at the bottom. Milky Way - Galactic center or as much of it as I can see this time of year Canon 600D iOptron SkyTracker Canon 18-55 lens set on 18 and F5 30-2 minute subs and flats combined in DSS and tweaked in Photoshop CC

I just purchased a new 14mm F2.8 lens for my Canon. This will give me a much wider field. Now I have to wait until the moon is new again. Also going to drive 25 miles further into the interior of Florida to a State Park that is even darker and has a better view of the horizon.
