Hi Marc.. With regards to your information on the those existing chromacorr, currently seems like no one is selling what they have purchased earlier like myself, and one good new that is from cloudynights forum, is that probably not much longer from now, newer versions with bigger optical glass surfaces and quality be available, and you can look forward to improve the contrast and color correction of your iStar, better than mine which is version II.. Please read those information from the following cloudynights forums link.. www.cloudynights.com/topic/671912-chromacorr-ii/?hl=%2Bchromacorr#entry9563249Regards James Ling

Hello Marc, thanks for posting. That's very interesting to see what you have achieved. Looks like a practical setup given your limited space. I wonder if a dew shield would help contrast as well as trying filters. Please report on deep sky objects after moon has retreated. regards... Graham.P

Hello, I'm still alive and I still have my two refractors APM Apo 140 f7 and Istar D204 f8.8. Unfortunately, I hardly came to observe, the interest has fallen asleep a bit. Was held up for health reasons due to some uncertainties of a chronic nature 2021 . From the age of 50 it goes downhill..laughs.. Interest in my hobby has not expired! Regards Marc
