The 150 f15 is due to arrive 2/14, as is the mount and tripod from Optic-Craft, talk about timing. Not sure if this is the first one to arrive in the States. The scope is #004. Stoke level.....high!
Does anyone want me to post photos of the rig?

That's quite OK. We've seen enough scopes to know what they look like. But hey thanx for the offer anyways. You know what "they" say....."it's the thought that counts"! :PMike

Scope cleared Czech customs and is now in Slovakia...
Ales has been communicating all along, even right after he had whatever procedure it is he had.
Stay tuned.

Arrival. Box was dented but no apparent damage. It could have been a better box with more protection. Scope is very light. Needs an extender to come to focus. It's a beauty. Collimation is spot on. No color on moon, no color on jupiter. I am going out after dinner to check out m42. Finisk is superb, build quality is awesome. Attachments:

That Optic-Craft mount looks all business. I'll bet when you get it set properly there shouldn't be any slop or jiggle. ;)Mike

Put that Optic Craft on a pier, and it would almost look as nice as your mount Mikey.

I am so glad to hear that your scope arrived in a good condition. The box is made of 5mm reinforced plastic corrugated and so far we did not have any damage reported from around the world. BUT on these F15s we may ad a central reinforcement for future shipment. Enjoy your new scope and please get back with us with some first light report, we would like to post this report on our own web site if you dont mind. Clear Skies! Ales, ISTAR Optical

Looking forward to hearing you impressions Mr Mullet. Is that a motorised Moonlite?. Looks great. I like your mount too, I could use something like that.
