Hi JP, More astounding images! I particularly like the Jupiter shot. Also the tiny craterlets in Plato and around Mons Pico are testament to the excellent lens you are using. To think that you are only using 228mm aperture is testament to your skill.
Keep posting these images they are something for us all to aspire to. Having looked through telescopes at the moon for nearly 50 years now I know how difficult it is to get equipment, atmosphere and observer tuned in to produce this kind of quality. Your pictures always bring a big smile to my face.
Best wishes

Those are easily some of the best photos I have ever seen taken by an amateure astronomer , that Istar is a great performer alright , along with your skills . The detail seen is amazing , congratulations again . Brian.

JP, ditto what Ian said. Excellent quality. Definitely a testament to Istar lenses. As a planetary photographer I've been waiting for some Jupiter images. That image was worth the wait. I would love to see some RGB images of Jupiter if you are taking requests.
