Just got in from another session with the moon after work tonight , beautiful . I used my new 2 inch 2x TV Power Mate giving a f/l of 2000mm , nice image scale at that . As usual Sony Alpha 200 DSLR , photos raw , only sized for this site . I love the contrast this 127mm achromat provides , awesome stuff . Enjoy and please comment . ps. I posted 2 on CN's in my thread , not the same photos as these 3 , different exposures and ISO's so have a look , it will be interesting what the nay-sayers have to say wont it ? . I cant detect any CA on any of the 30 odd photos I took even zoomed right into the limb . The only colour is the blue moon that was behind a cloud bank , it just come out this nice blue colour . ( had to open a new thread for the 'Blue Moon' ) Brian.

Hey Brian, I don't think anyone will be negative with these images. Actually, I think people are tired of the bickering with Istar threads. Your post has been peaceful up to this point. Let's hope it stays that way.

No straight out of my Sony A200 at IOS 800 and about 1/400th a second from memory and straight into my computer , only sized to fit the website . On processing Mike , I have seen some super shots ,but to me they aint real . I think if you want to look at nice sanitised moon or DS shots , go buy a glossy hardcover book , there are plenty out there . No these are as it is , natural .
Brian.
