Yeah it's like someone has been turning on/off the sprinklers here for the last day or so.

I don't know Mike. You might just have to get my scope out of Florida to beat the weather curse!

Hi Mike.....
In my country, due to the South China Sea monsoon rain is moving Southwards towards us, for the whole of this week, is very cloudy like what is seen from your weather.......
But I do hope next weekend when I travel Northwards 100km away from my city, to a remote country side for star gazing, the weather won't be like now.....
I also do not want to disappoint the 30 over students without the chance to take a look through my 8" ISTAR......
Regards
James Ling

I tested three scopes tonight. Two Ares 150-5 R30 and one Phoenix WFT 150-5. I'm tired and can't type my whole review but I will say this, I like what I saw. There is a dramatic difference in color correction between the R30 and the classic achro. I've been seeing it on paper for sometime now. But, until you actually have them side by side looking at Vega... However, if you use either of these scopes for what they were designed to do you will not be disappointed. I'll try to get more up tomorrow.
