Hi all, Finally , it's alive! Here's some pictures of my new 150-8 .... I made a wood case from plywood and i took the foam from the istar shipping box! Thanks

Looks great! I am sure you are going to have many wonderful nights of viewing. That is of course, if you do not live near me. It has been quite cloudy this year, but tonight looks very promising.

Great looking setup. Which model of Ioptron mount do you have? It looks just right for that 'scope.
The case is lovely. Good idea utilising that dense foam. When my 8" was shipped from USA to UK the foam did an excellent job of protecting it.

In the first picture it looks like you have already started on the framework for your observatory roof. Pretty substantial timbers!
