Look forward to seeing it. Stunning location. I'm a new member as of last month. If only I could have a location like that with out the British weather to take advantage of such a large piece of Istar Glass. Can't wait. Jnhn.

congratulations for your superb project!
I live in Emilia too (in Fidenza) so, as you did mention of "public observation", I will stay tuned and try to be the first in the line at he first chance!
I do often also solar observing, I wonder if you plan to use the big scope also for the Sun?

Hi Marcello ! sounds great to hear from you - and sound a bit strange speak english :-)) - yes indeed , the big refractor will be pointed to the sun also, I am going to stop down the aperture to 180 - actually f 18,5 - so.. excellent views with very long focal lenght. Please send me a MP so we can arrange our meeting, the first light of the OG will be In the first days of august.
