These images are spectacular JP. If you call this bad seeing, I really want to see the results of good seeing. Amazing!

JP, your final image reminds me of a fine steel engraving made in 19th century by the celebrated James Nasmyth. It is an exceptionally moving image you have captured there. To me it really captures the fury of the processes going on every single moment on the suns surface. Your images are not only scientific records but also works of art. You are taking solar imaging to a whole new level.

Thank you Ian It is true that the images of the sun in H-alpha with inverted mode remind a painting of impressionistic artist of 19th century as Van gogh JP

Those are amazing images JP. I should have sent you an email as I was just in France for my honeymoon. Spend several days in Eze and Nice. It would have been nice to see your scope in person!!
Congrats on those pictures, they really do look amazing!
Now that I'm back in Korea I am going to be finalizing my purchase of the Asteria 204-8 and a mount. I think I have decided to go with the Orion HDX110 with it's 110lbs payload capacity. This will give me room in the future to add significantly to it without having to buy a new mount later.
Take care, Jason

Yes Jason, always "over buy" on the mount. No one has ever said, "Oh I have too much mount."

Yes, I'm looking forward to it JP.. I just got word from Mike that the dew shield and focuser are shipping. I believe he will ship the scope on Monday the 10th of Nov. So probably looking at 1-2 weeks for delivery here in Seoul. I have my mount setup and pretty much ready to go. Can't wait for first light!
