I am guessing the clown on CN has nothing else to do but filter every post for the word "Istar" . The moment he posted his stupid comments on my last thread there I reported his post to the moderators and this time they acted quickly removing his tripe. I am hoping to get these little F15 scopes finished soon and then depending on finances get the big scope underway.
Its odd that someone on CN can start a thread about AstroPhysics that is just a blatant piece of 'product pushing' and nothing is done about it, yet, I posted a thread about Istar previously and it was locked as it was deemed to be "product pushing". I think everyone knows that every single refractor out there shows a degree of chromatic aberration, admittedly on some of the best ones like Takahashi TOA130 and 150 it is not visible to the eye, yet these people believe you only have to have TEC or AP LZOS on the lens and all traces of CA disappear.
I have even seen some CA in my Takahashi TSA120 one of the best corrected lenses out there.
End of rant ................. keep the flag flying.

Well despite the antics over at CN, where I am still banned, Ales and I appreciate your support Kitch. Believe me when I say we will soon be introducing new products that will appeal to a much broader astro audience. The final details are in the works on several items and also a new "partnership" with a great company. Eventually the naysayers are going to be overwhelmed and surrounded. No it's not Raycorr. Sorry still working on that project. I just sold a lens this morning to a very large American Aerospace company that builds rocket tracking and imaging devices. They said we came highly recommended from another company they deal with that is using our lenses. This firm told them our lenses have proven to be good and consistent quality. Funny isn't it? Our lenses are good enough for an Aerospace company that tracks rockets but not good enough for some piss ant on CN. OK, an unprofessional remark. Sorry you'll have to excuse me as I'm feeling a little cocky right now Mike

Well Apollo, we welcome your ideas over here. Innovation is our middle name. Obviously if you are talking about filters used for viewing or imaging the sun a great deal of caution is needed. One mistake and your blind in that eye. I look forward to reporting on the "package" you sent me.

Good news Mike , I am glad its working out for you and Ales mate you guys deserve it as I believe your products are world class and allow us peasents out here to be able to afford the telescopes of our dreams . The new partnership is not Ioptron? by any chance ? . Ha ha , 'Pissant' I like it ... Brian. Well despite the antics over at CN, where I am still banned, Ales and I appreciate your support Kitch. What gives I go to sleep for a few hours and all hell breaks loose....... So I log onto CN a few minutes ago and my favourite thread about Astro Physics scopes (where all AP fanboys come to dance around a campfire naked and goats are involved) and I find that the entire thread has been hidden for moderator review., Things must have got heated in ASStroPhysics circles. (On another note, Brian I may need your machining skills soon, I will need a brass adapter to install a focuser into an 88.9mm OD tube)

I see the rot might be settling ( trying anyway ) into my 127mm Istar thread on CN's ,,, There are some good discussions emerging and I hope it stays civil and does not get locked like most others . Brian.
